How to order a repeat prescription
For patients who use Broadclyst Dispensary:
- Due to current staffing levels in our dispensary, please allow up to 5 working days for your routine repeat prescriptions at this time.
- We will still aim to turn around urgent, acute prescriptions on a same-day basis wherever possible.
- We will keep the situation under review and let you know when we can safely reduce back to a 3-day turnaround.
- Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
Due to the Covid 19 Pandemic please limit your need to attend the surgery and request your prescription via econsult, email or via online ordering (see below).
We aim to issue your prescription within two working days of receiving the request in the surgery. We can send them electronically to a pharmacy of your choice – just let us know if you have not already.
You can re-order your prescription in a number of ways:
- Post your request via Royal Mail
- Drop it into either surgery, using the box provided.
- Email your request using our secure online form*
- Order online using the Patient Access system.
Please remember, the pharmacy will also need time to dispense your medication. Therefore, please order in good time and don’t wait until you’ve nearly run out.
* Please only use our secure online form for routine and non-urgent enquiries. For acute or urgent problems always telephone. The Practice does not offer email consultations.
